I have few questions about OS X
until now i did not successed in replacing an icon. I download the icon. go to get info
click the icon i chose copy
go to the icon i want to change click get info. i click on the icon and when i try to paste it either does not have it in the EDIT menu or when i press command-C nothing happens!
Another question is when i download an updated version of a program, for instance SAFARI
every time, i delete the application icon in the applilcation folder and paste the new updated version after I unstuff it int he application folder
is this the right way to do it?
In windows i used to chose uninstall here there is no uninstall in many of the programs.
I also want to know where teh information gets stored. When i delete safari and install it again the bookmarks and everything is stillthere witht he cookies. In which folders do they get stored? And as the time goes by would this information clutter the work of my computer?
