Do not know what's wrong, howevre try to zap the RAM through pressing the keys "P" and "R" together while in start up mode, I suspect some buffering problems.

I used to have the same problem with a PC until I figured out a solution ; which was to unplug the AC cord and lay it on the ground for 10 minutes to make static's discharged then things goes normally and have my freaking windows on.
