As far as support, you will have a big support from your local Mac users, try to get to know them before you reach Riyadh, especially from here, Mac4Arabs. On the other hand, you have desperado and a bunch of other great people there as well.
While also you have the Official Mac dealer in Riyadh but all what I know is they are "CRAP"!
In terms of prices, I guess the prices here are higher than in Canada
