Apple has been a pioneer in the business of Hand writing recognition before the PC's, Palm and Pocket PC.. (since Newton) So it is time they come up with a sleek pocket mac and Tablet Powerbook. It is a shame that Apple starts a revolution and end up the last to catch up with its own inventions with the exception of the iPod and iTunes. I'll be the first to dump my pocket pc and get a mac version.
We need more products from apple... Maybe Apple Cell phones? Apple never fails (Ok just few times) to come up with the best design and functionality in the market

I think the new design is ugly , and i already saw many pc's with the same look
i think even dell has one

the older imac are much more original, heck they have been on Time magazine cover

but g5 is good news

The new design isn't incredibly amazing until you consider they managed to fit a G5 inside it. One other thing to remember is that many Apple products look much better in person than they do in photographs. With that said, I definitely welcome this. Take a look at that picture. All you have to do is pop the back off of the new iMac and it appears you can easily replace the hard drive and optical drive, and maybe even swap the CPU in the future (though heat will be a definite issue there). Changing any of those things in previous generation iMacs or the eMac was a pain.

I will still remain a PowerMac user though. I can never grow accustomed to all-in-one designs. You can find very detailed (10mb .tiffs) of the new iMac here.

Once u see the fact tat its only 2" for a desktop computer it makes it more than amazing.. its even so mobile that u dont have to move lots of parts I would agree though with the al-in-one concept and if one thing goes wrong.. GOD HELP

My suspicions were confirmed. Look at how many parts in the iMac are user replaceable -- even the LCD! This almost makes me consider buying an iMac some day.
