Fact sheet BMW vs COROLLA

Both have the following

1 Engine
4 wheels
1 Transmission unit
4 Seats
4 Doors
1 AC unit
Both use oil, gas, water and the rest, the only difference is that COROLLA Stincks, Now swap Mac OS X For BMW and the other thing to COROLLA

This is my personal experience, you can DISAGREE with me, but that will only prove that you shouldn't be a member of this forum.

Yes I agree with you and I think Mac X is the best operating system for Desktop.But I don't know how do you get this fact since you said

Please do not equate the Corolla with a Microsoft product; my old Corolla was far more reliable

I only glanced over the Mac vs. XP site, and I realize his final conclusion was that OS X is superior (and I agree). However the whole idea that you can quantitatively compare operating systems is just stupid to me. For example he gave XP an 8 for out of the box security, and OS X a 7. Give me a break. A fresh install of Windows XP (before applying SP2) would be compromised in minutes if connected directly to the Internet. On the other hand, I wouldn't be particularly worried about even the earliest version of OS X running unpatched while connected to the Internet.

His whole study seemed like one big waste of time to me.

أكبر مهزلة في العالم هي آمان الدخول في XP
إذا نسيت كلمه السر (أو أحببت الدخول إلي جهاز شخص آخر) و الكمبوتر ( ) نظامه عكس بي تحتاج ALT+CTR+DEL ثم SAFE MODE ثم سلمّـلي على Administrator Previlages !

بس في نقطه يا آخ لانقيتور هذي الحركه تمشي مع المستخدم الغير المحترف لآن آول شي المفروض اليسويه المستخدم في كمبيوتره الجديد تغير آسم الadministrator وبعدين وضع كلمه سر صعبه بمعنى مايستخدم تاريخ ميلاد او شي من هذا القبيل وتكون كلمه السر مكونه من حروف ما بين صغيره وكبيره وآرقام وبعد كل هذا يستخدم تشفير الملفات. صح ولا لا؟وتقريبا هذي الطريقه متبعه في كل نظم التشغيل للي عنه معلومات تستاهل.

لا يا أخي ... أنا الم أشرح كامل الطريقة لإعتبارات الآمان و لكن هذه الطريقه تستخدم للدخول علي الجهاز حتي و إذا كانت هناك كلمه سر صعبه و مشفره حيث تعطيك صلاحيات مشابهه لـ SuperUser و من هناك يمكنك تغيير كل شيء
in short, if you have PHYSICAL access to ANY computr (mac or PC) you can get into the files one way or another... Tried that more than once and never failed
The difference is only on how easy it is and how good your googling is

آنا آختلف معك الرآي يا لانجيتر آولا بالنسبه للماك اذا المستخدم شغل ال filevault انسى تشوف الملف آو الهارد دسك بآكمله وعلى كلامك آنك اذا كنت موجود آمام الجهاز تكون آسهل ، ممكن اسهل انك تمسح الهارد دسك بس مو لا.زم يكون سهل آنك تشوف محتويات الجهاز.

إذا لم يستخدم المستخدم خاصيه Set Master password فإنه يمكن بإستخدام الـCD الذي يأتي مع الجهاز الوصول إلى ملفات المستخدم المحميه بـ FileVault

يا أخي لا أريد المجادله و لكن بصفه عامه (مهما كان نوع الحمايه) يمكن الوصول الى شيء ما من المعلومات :
at least rip the HD out and mount it on a different box with appropriate tools and there you go...
