Safari help

I just installed microsoft office 2004 on my powerbook.
After installing it, the safari browser has some problem viewing the arabic text.
It will display the text, but there will be some broken-letter words.
Note that I tried opening the smae page in the School mac (which has Office X) and it did display all the text correctly.
I would appreciate it if one of the mac's expert would help me

Another thing seems to be confusing:
When I write in the forume using mac , why is the typing direction from right to left.

this issue was discussed here before, some search can help you
my quicky advise is to trash all the fonts in the user folder and re-run Safari
voila the arabic text is fixed

No need to trash all of the fonts in the user folder, just Times New Roman and Arial. The others are fine.

There are two places OS X keeps fonts on your computer. The first is in /Library/Fonts. These are fonts available to all users. The second place fonts are kept is in the /Library/Fonts folder in your home directory; this is where Office 2004 installed the fonts that are conflicting with Safari (and also Mail App, if you'd check that out too). You need to delete Times New Roman and Arial from that folder. After doing so everything should be fine.

I submitted a hint here. I also wrote about it on Microsoft's public newsgroup for Mac Office hoping they would add something about it on their support page; but this is Microsoft we're dealing with, so that never happened.
