Aparently all intel macs can be upgraded with a chip swap

you can't do that with Mac Book Pro,,, it's not upgradable
but you can do it in Mac-Mini & iMac

and there's no solo iMac ,,,

Your right I meant Mac Mini always confuse the two
the link actually looks at mac mini and that is what I meant

And your right about macbook pro it isn't upgradable EASILY
but it IS upgradable
as the processor is soldered on
You will need to unsolder the prior processor
which majority of us can't do

Thanks for pointing out the mistakes
There was no info on macbook pro at the time I wrote the topic
and since mac mini uses laptop components I presumed MacBook pro would be the same
