i have the microsoft office test drive with my macbook
as this software is only going to work for 1 month .. i wanted a permanent one
so i decided to install open office and test it out on macbook
i've downloaded it and it asked for Apple X11 to be installed first ... so i went and downloaded X11 .. and i tried to install it .. a message appeard saying that a newer version of this software is already installed ..
if that is right .. why isn't it allowing me to install the openoffice?
is there a way to install it?
the main thing is i need to read and write and interact with microsoft office products ..using open office or microsoft office for free
