Hi all,
I have a MacBook with 1GB RAM, and I have the Parallels software as well. The problem is when I switch from the full screen Windows to the Mac OS X, I want the Parallels window to disappear. In other words, I don't want to see a small Parallels window after I switch to OS X. I think this video explains my point explicitly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dbt9upE6hpM...ted&search= Another thing is that the switching process is not smooth as in the video. Is it because I have 1GB of RAM? So, does anyone have an idea how I can achieve these things? Thanks |

I'm a pretty new user and I don't have a parallels yet but my guess is that the ram s definetly an issue...by the way you may also want to check out fusion which would consume less ram...
check out this article on it.. http://ptech.allthingsd.com/ hope this helps |

The video you have placed here is not for Parallel, but for Virtual Desktop rather. I can also see the user of this video is on a Mac mini with 1GB RAM only
you shouldn't worry about RAM, although more is better, but to answer you question… well Windows window on your mac is treated as a normal Mac window - ideally to switch from program to another ie. toggle - all you need is to press and hold command button and press tab button, this will bring another window to front |
